At Worn Wild, every element of our brand has meaning, none more so than the rhino in our logo.<\/span><\/p>

A Symbol of Strength and Vulnerability<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Rhinos are ancient, majestic creatures. They\u2019ve roamed this earth for millions of years surviving drastic environmental changes and evolving into one of nature\u2019s most iconic animals. Despite their immense strength, they now teeter on the edge of extinction, a paradox that moved us deeply.<\/span><\/p>

The moment that solidified our choice came during a life-changing trip: while backpacking across southern Africa, we were fortunate enough to witness a mother rhino and her calf, just 20 metres away peacefully grazing in the morning light. It was an unforgettable moment, a reminder of nature\u2019s quiet strength and the irreplaceable bond between wild creatures and their environment.<\/span><\/p>

But not all rhino stories end with serenity.<\/span><\/p>

The Image We Can\u2019t Unsee<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

We once saw an image (horrifying yet essential) of a rhino left to die, its horn hacked off by poachers, its body discarded, with its calf abandoned and traumatised nearby. That image still haunts us and it\u2019s one we believe the world should not ignore. (<\/span><\/p>

That heartbreak became a call to action.<\/span><\/p>

Why It Matters to Us<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

The rhino in our logo represents more than just an animal - it symbolises the delicate balance between power and preservation. It is a reminder that strength must be protected not exploited. We chose it to honour these animals, to highlight the growing environmental threats they face and to connect that to the clothing choices we make.<\/span><\/p>

Planet in the Balance<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Next to the rhino in our logo is a swirling green and blue sphere symbolising Earth. The pairing isn\u2019t random - it\u2019s intentional. Our planet, just like the rhino is beautiful, powerful and in urgent need of protection. One represents nature\u2019s living creatures, the other our shared home.<\/span><\/p>
