My Favourite Worn Wild Designs (So Far)
A look at my favourite Worn Wild designs from bold slogans to wildlife-inspired art, each eco-friendly tee tells a story of sustainability, respect and meaning.

When we launched Worn Wild, I didn’t just want to sell clothes - I wanted every design to mean something. To say something. Whether it’s about people, wildlife or the planet, each piece has its own story. Some are cheeky, some serious, some personal. Together they make up a collection that I’m proud of. Here are a few of my favourites (so far) in no particular order.

People Are Idiots

We’ve all been there. Either you’ve shouted it out loud or screamed it in your head - people can be idiots. The driver who dangerously overtakes you. Someone lobbing their McDonald’s rubbish out the window. Or that person pushing in at the checkout queue like the world revolves around them. This was our very first design which probably says something! But in truth, I’ve always been more interested in understanding why people behave the way they do and finding solutions where I can. I don’t live by “People Are Idiots” as a mantra but sometimes you’re justified in thinking it. The design itself is simple with its upside-down text to reinforce the point - finished off with a cheeky smiley face.

Gorillas In Our Midst

Inspired by the legendary Dian Fossey and the film Gorillas in the Mist. Some films move you, but once is enough - I’m thinking Tarka the Otter, Born Free and the childhood trauma of Watership Down. I still remember sitting in the cinema as a kid utterly shocked by that cartoon. E, with her love of rabbits was equally scarred. But the bigger picture is this: gorillas are in our midst and it’s our responsibility to keep them there. This design is dedicated to those on the front line, risking their lives daily to protect an iconic species that we simply cannot afford to lose.

Voice For Awesomeness: Turtle Edition

Turtles have been roaming the Earth for over 100 million years — which is just mind-blowing. To put it into perspective: if that timespan was condensed into a single calendar year, humans would only have appeared at one second to midnight. And in that tiny window we’ve managed to cause catastrophic harm to their environment. It’s a shocking reality. This design is in honour of these ancient ocean wanderers, a reminder of resilience and fragility all in one. It’s also the first in our “Voice For Awareness” theme - designs that speak up for those who can’t.

Judge Me When You Understand Me

This one’s personal. As a kid I was painfully shy. So shy that I’d cross the street to avoid eye contact or struggle to string words together with strangers. People mistook that silence for arrogance, when really it was anxiety. Over time, I’ve realised how quick we all are to judge what’s on the surface without pausing to understand what’s underneath. It’s the classic iceberg analogy where you only see the tip, while anxiety, grief, trauma, ADHD or sheer exhaustion sit below the surface. This hoodie is for anyone who’s been misunderstood and for those who want to be better listeners, better friends, better humans. A sustainably-made, soft, wearable reminder to stop assuming and start understanding.

All Lives Matter

Adapted from “Black Lives Matter,” this design comes from a place of seeing the world as one. I know it’s a simplistic take and of course the topic runs far deeper, but for me it boils down to respect. Respect for people’s views, beliefs and differences, provided they don’t cause harm. We live on an incredibly diverse planet and that includes us humans. The eagle represents the skies, the whale the oceans and humans the land. Three elements, one planet, all lives connected. It’s a bold statement, yes, but also a reminder that respect is the foundation of everything.

Failure Learn Success

This one is rooted in my favourite teaching quote: “Failure is success when we learn from it.” It’s pure growth mindset. For years I avoided situations because I didn’t want to make mistakes in front of other people and I missed opportunities because of it. The same is true for so many kids and adults who protect their ego rather than risk failure. But here’s the truth: failure is logical. The first time you try something, of course you’re not going to be great at it — you’ve got no experience! Just like when we all learned to walk or talk. No one called us failures then and yet we pile that word onto ourselves now. This design is a reminder to embrace mistakes, learn and move forward stronger.

Bottle Octopus

This one is more of a straight-up environmental call-out. A plastic bottle fused with the tentacles of an octopus, with a stranded turtle tangled up in the detail. It’s about the oceans, the waste we create and the behaviours we need to change. Octopuses are some of the most intelligent, fascinating creatures on the planet, yet even they can’t outwit the tide of human plastic. This design is a plea to keep our seas clean and our marine life safe.

Straight Outta Therapy

A playful twist on Straight Outta Compton with a serious undertone. For anyone who’s walked the hard road of mental health recovery, this design is both a badge of honour and a statement of courage. Acknowledging the issue is the first step and it’s a massive one. I admire anyone who takes it. You’ll often see people out there making small but mighty efforts to better themselves, whether it’s running, talking or just showing up. If you see this shirt on someone, you may not know their story, but you can respect the fight behind it.

Worn Wild Official

Our first logo tee and still one of my proudest designs. Simple, strong and meaningful. The rhino represents strength and resilience, the sphere colours of Earth speak for themselves and together they capture everything Worn Wild stands for. It was also our very first sale which makes it even more special. Now with the customisation feature enabled, you can play with the logo - resize it, move it, change the colour and make it uniquely yours with access to over 100 products. For me though, it’ll always be the original that stays closest to my heart.

Worn Wild: Sunset Tail

The first tee to carry the words “Worn Wild.” Inspired by seeing a whale tail in real life and trust me, once you’ve seen that it never leaves you. The letters are flipped upside-down just to make people look twice because let’s face it, in a crowded market you’ve got to stand out. Paired with a bold whale tail, it makes for an eye-catching design. And now available in our Wall Art and Cards Shop, the print versions that have just been released, as I’m writing this might be some of the most stunning products we’ve ever created. But hey that’s just my opinion.

Available now SHOP | ACCESSORIES | Art Prints & Cards

Final Thoughts

These designs are more than fabric and ink - they’re stories, statements and reminders of what matters most. Some are light-hearted, others carry weight but all of them represent what Worn Wild is about: caring for people, animals and the planet. And this is just the beginning. I can’t wait to share what comes next.

Shop by Design, Your Way

At Worn Wild we do things a little differently, we shop by design, not just by product. That means if you see a design you love, you’re not limited to one style of t-shirt. With our customise feature you can apply any design to any top you like whether that’s a classic tee, hoodie, vest or long sleeve.

It doesn’t stop there. With a couple of clicks you can:

Change the product style to suit your taste.

Pick the colour that fits your vibe.

Resize or reposition the design.

Even add your own text to make it 100% yours.

Think of it as clothing that’s as flexible as your personality. You’re not buying off the shelf - you’re co-creating with us.

So next time a design catches your eye, hit that Customise button and make it uniquely yours.

https://images.podos.io/hao21yyjl8vmteie772yg6tw1hdp1ufkeciqqxjynhvh4ufk.jpeg?z=1.1549504554444&fx=0.51270705708326&fy=0.4329190032724
https://images.podos.io/hao21yyjl8vmteie772yg6tw1hdp1ufkeciqqxjynhvh4ufk.jpeg.jpg?w=1140&h=855&z=1.1549504554444&fx=0.51270705708326&fy=0.4329190032724
https://images.podos.io/hao21yyjl8vmteie772yg6tw1hdp1ufkeciqqxjynhvh4ufk.jpeg.jpg?w=1920&h=1440&z=1.1549504554444&fx=0.51270705708326&fy=0.4329190032724
My Favourite Worn Wild Designs | Sustainable Style
Discover my favourite Worn Wild designs from wildlife tributes to growth mindset statements.
